Company History

Originally founded in 1979 as “Installation and Dismantle” or I&D, Nth Degree paved the way for independent I&D services in the tradeshow marketing industry. Led by founders Tony Amodeo, Jack McEntee and Pat Alacqua, Nth Degree was the first to offer exhibitors choices for their installation and dismantle labor. In time, as our customers’ needs for event marketing grew, so did Nth Degree. A number of event services and solutions were added, evolving Nth Degree into a global brand-to-face marketing company.

In 2001, Nth Degree came under the ownership of a group of private equity investors led by Chicago-based Frontenac Company. This investor group owned the company for almost 11 years until it was acquired by Gen Cap America (GCA), a private investment firm headquartered in Nashville, Tenn. This investment firm is committed to the business and to expanding its customers’ global event marketing needs and continuing to grow at a pace that exceeds the industry standards. In February 2013, Nth Degree celebrated 34 years as a leader in the event and tradeshow management industry.
